Today (19th), Hainan’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) signed a “Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement to Create a Flying Car Application Demonstration Island” with XPeng AeroHT.
The two parties will collaborate to establish a “Flying Car Application Demonstration Island”, focusing on building a comprehensive demonstration base for flying cars, while conducting end-user services such as display, experience, sales, delivery, after-sales, and pilot training of flying car products.
They will also actively expand flying car application scenarios, offering flying car flight experiences and sightseeing pilot services around the province’s 5A-level scenic spots, coastal resorts, high-end hotels, and island tourism highway service stations.
In addition, both parties will promote demonstrations and displays of flying cars including the “land aircraft carrier” in Hainan, and organize participation in low-altitude economy forums, exhibitions, competitions, and science popularization and research activities.
