新闻背景：6月23日，在辽宁省锦州市新时代集装箱码头，中远海运集装箱运输有限公司、上海泛亚航运有限公司联合举办锦州至海南（洋浦）内外贸同船航线开通仪式。内外贸结合的运输方式，对船公司而言可以综合利用舱位，提高航次的舱位利用率，规避单一贸易的运输风险，以及拓展航线服务深度和广度，同时带给支线港货主合理的运价和更好的出口服务。对于港口及其腹地经济区域而言，则能得到更多的航线与货量，带动当地经济发展。
