Huawei\u00a0continues to expand the 5.5G communication network in China and currently, the company is working with Hainan Mobile to begin the trial of advanced technology. The 5.5G network testing in Hainan may take place later this month.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In recent times, the Chinese tech giant teamed up with several partners like Beijing Unicom, China Mobile, Yunnan Telecom, and more to host the\u00a05.5G\u00a0or 5G-A trials in the native region. This strategy continues with Hainan Mobile firm as well.<\/p>\n

According to the information, the Boao Forum for Asia 2024 Annual Program will be conducted in Boao, Hainan from March 26 to 29. Here, Huawei and Hainan Mobile will test the 5.5G communication network technology and its capabilities.<\/p>\n

The test will happen in Huawei and Hainan Mobile\u2019s jointly developed 5G-A three-carrier aggregation demonstration area on Dongyu Island, Qionghai City. As per the details, the downlink rate in this zone can reach up to 4.35 Gbps.<\/p>\n

Huawei aims to promote the\u00a05G-A technology\u00a0in China to deliver better and improved network speed, capacity, and reliability to both consumers and operators. So far, the company has placed the 5.5G testing zones in more than 20 Chinese provinces.<\/p>\n

Consequently, the Deputy General Manager of Hainan\u2019s Innovation Center and Construction Department \u2013 Zhao Feilong says:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe enhanced version of 5G technology 5G-A will provide more powerful digital momentum for the development of new productivity. It uses millisecond-level resources and centimeter-level resources and introduces revolutionary technologies that can better match scenarios such as the Internet of Vehicles, high-end manufacturing, and urban sensing, and effectively support the growth and innovative development of digital applications.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
