Nestled in the mountainous area in the middle of Hainan, the national park covers a vast area of 4268.54 square kilometers, accounting for one-eighth of Hainan&#8217;s total land area. It is the most concentrated, best-preserved and largest contiguous tropical rainforest forest in China, and an important part of rainforests world-wide.<\/p>\n<p>With diverse wildlife, the Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park is a treasure trove of nature. Approximately 20 percent of China&#8217;s amphibian species, 33 percent of reptile species, 38.6 percent of bird species, and 20 percent of mammal species can be found here.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the park boasts rich plant biodiversity, with an impressive 3,577 recorded species of wild vascular plants.
